In 1994, Hassan El-Sayed set up a small workshop on the west bank of the Nile and began carving the same pale alabaster that Egyptian craftsmen have worked for four thousand years. Three decades on, his family is still working alongside him - cutting, smoothing and finishing each piece by hand.

How to find us
We are on 231 Street, Building 34 in Sarayat al Maadi, tucked away down a staircase. You will find us from the street opposite Swirkies.
Look for out sign in red Luxor Co. Alabaster Art - it's a little easy to miss but you can just walk in from the street and if you have any trouble finding you can give us a call. Our showroom is just down the stairs with the sign on the streetview level.
Open every day including Friday until 10pm — just walk in, no appointment needed.
